With this project we want to give you an insight into the diversity of the fetish community through a series of portraits. But first this article will explain you in words what fetish is. When the photo project is finished it will also reflect that in images. Indeed, the fetish world encompasses a diverse group with people of all ages, genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds. Although the fetish world is often seen as a subculture that is only about sexual preferences and activities that are outside the mainstream, it is important to understand that the community encompasses much more than just sex. In this article, we will briefly explain some characteristics of the fetish community and explain some stereotypes of fetish in order to highlight the diversity and inclusiveness of this community.

So that includes support for people struggling to accept themselves or who are struggling with other health problems.
Of course, there are many stereotypes about what makes a "typical" fetishist. It is important to note, however, that fetishes can come in many forms and degrees and that there is no complete list of all possible fetishes. But below are some common fetishes and a brief explanation of what they entail:

This can include a range of leather items such as leather jackets, boots, pants, gloves, harnesses, and other leather-based items. People with a leather fetish may be aroused by the feel, smell, and visual appearance of leather or by the associations of leather with power, dominance, submission, or BDSM (Bondage & Discipline, Dominance & Submission, Sadism & Masochism).
Rubber fetish : Also known as latex fetish, is a sexual attraction or preference for clothing made of latex or rubber. People with a rubber fetish may be turned on by wearing rubber or seeing others wearing it. Rubber fetishists may also enjoy the tactile sensation and the smell of the material.
Sportswear fetish: This is also known as athletic gear fetish or gymwear fetish, is a sexual attraction or fetishism towards clothing that is typically associated with sports and athletic activities. This can include items such as athletic shorts, running tights, sports bras, sweatpants, gym socks, and sneakers. People with a sportswear fetish may be sexually aroused by the feel, smell, and sight of these items, either on themselves or others.
BDSM fetish: This is a sexual attraction to BDSM activities, such as bondage, discipline, domination and submission, and sadomasochism. People with this fetish may enjoy experiencing or inflicting pain, performing power games or using specific BDSM equipment.
Food or pee fetish: This is a sexual attraction to food or bodily fluids, such as urine or semen. People with this fetish may enjoy eating or spreading food or liquids during sexual activities.
Cross-dressing fetish: This is a sexual attraction to wearing clothes of the opposite sex. People with this fetish may enjoy wearing garments, makeup and wigs of the opposite sex during sexual activities.
Object fetish: This is a sexual attraction to non-physical objects, such as shoes, furniture, cars or toys. People with this fetish may enjoy using these objects during sexual activities.
Fetish for body parts: This fetish revolves around a specific body part, such as breasts, buttocks, armpits or hair.
Exhibitionism and voyeurism: Exhibitionism revolves around showing one's own body or sexual acts to others. Voyeurism revolves around watching others perform sexual acts.
Furry fetish: This is also known as "furry fandom," is a subculture or community of people who are interested in anthropomorphic animals, or animals with human-like qualities. This interest can manifest in a variety of ways, from creating and appreciating artwork and literature featuring anthropomorphic animals, to wearing costumes (known as "fursuits") and participating in role-playing and social events. In terms of fetishism, some individuals within the furry community may have a sexual attraction to anthropomorphic animals, which can include fantasies or activities that involve dressing up as or interacting with these characters in a sexual context. However, it's important to note that not all furries are involved in the fetish aspect of the community, and that furry fandom is generally considered a subculture rather than a strictly sexual fetish.
It is important to note that fetishes are a very personal aspect of sexuality and that there is much variation in what people do and do not consider fetishes. Furthermore, it is important to note that for some people, fetishes are an integral part of their sexual identity, while others see them only as a temporary or optional way to express their sexuality.
