ESTRANGED/ TOOTSI

I did what I liked regardless of whether it was for girls or boys.

As a queer person from the southern part of the Netherlands, I soon learned that many people will not accept you as you are. I was lucky to grow up with an accepting family that taught me a lot. I was instilled with the basic idea of not caring about other people's opinions.I did what I liked, regardless of whether it was for "girls" or "boys" and thus my great love for drag was likely to have been born.

Make-up and dressing up were always things I loved and the fact that the outside world told me this was wrong and that this did not belong to boys made me feel even more attracted to it. With my drag, I want to show that you should not care about opinions and that every child should follow their passion regardless of the people around you.
